I am thrilled to share with you a sneak peek of my latest creation, a fully playable map of de_dust 2 for Polystrike. While I used the original CS:GO de_dust 2 level as a starting point, the map has undergone significant changes to make it my own unique creation.
One of the most notable changes is the dynamic shift between day and night, which adds a new level of excitement and intrigue to the gameplay experience. Additionally, I made many alterations and improvements to the top-down view, making the map even more engaging and dynamic for players.
The level was created using Hammer 2 for Source 2 as part of my own Dota 2 project. While approximately 60% of the assets I used were created by SyntysStudios, I was able to customize and adapt them to my specific needs using the powerful Mesh Tools in Hammer 2. About 39% of the assets I created were my own original designs, created right in Hammer. The remaining 1% of the assets were re-created original signs from CS:GO.
I am incredibly proud of the final result and am excited for players to experience it firsthand.
